Meet the friendly veterinary care team at Roblin Animal Hospital - My Vet!
Dr. Evan Fisk graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996.
He has worked in small animal medicine for over 20 years. As previous
owner of the Winnipeg Spay and Neuter Clinic, he brings a great deal of
experience to the Roblin Animal Hospital/ Red River Spay and Neuter Clinic. Dr
Fisk’s philosophy is absolute transparency, client satisfaction and good
veterinary medicine; because pets are family members…… Dr. Fisk is the proud
owner of a Bichon by named Tadji and the proud father of three boys.
Meshack was born in a town by the Atlantic Ocean in Africa with pigs, goats, chickens, dogs, and cats all around the house. His family fed the animals before themselves, recognizing that the humans and animals existed as co-dependents. Thus Meshack grew up caring for these animals as an important part of the family.
Dr. Kusa met his love, Olga, at veterinary school in Moscow, Russia, and they both graduated from Veterinary College in 1992. He worked in dynamic small animal practice in Moscow for over ten years before moving to Winnipeg. Here he took additional training in human diagnostic medical sonography and is both an American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer and a Canadian Registered Generalist Sonographer. He worked at Health Sciences Centre performing diagnostic ultrasound on humans before proceeding to get his veterinary licensure in Canada. He currently performs ultrasound examinations on pets at various other veterinary clinics in Winnipeg and really enjoys diagnostic imaging. Dr. Kusa is a wonderful addition to Roblin Animal Hospital.
On a personal note, Dr. Kusa is the proud father of three boys. He is also the happy owner of a British blue, short hair domestic cat named Lucy, which is also an immigrant in Winnipeg from Moscow.
Teo was born in the mountains of Romania in Eastern Europe and grew up in a farm-like setting with dairy cows, swine, sheep and poultry reared by his parents and of course with dogs and cats all around the house. Though Dr. Bularca was naturally interested in the health status of these animals, he went to study history and literature, then mathematics and physics prior to the vet college. Becoming a veterinarian was a natural, continuous and gradual progress. He graduated from the veterinary college in Timisoara, Romania, in 1993, practiced in mixed animal clinics in Europe, then later moved to Canada. After obtaining his license in 2007 to practice veterinary medicine in Canada, he spent sometime at Central Veterinary Services, then several years at McPhillips Animal Hospital, and has been part of Roblin team since 2017 as a relief / locum veterinarian. Dr. Bularca is very happy to put his very best knowledge and experience at work to give a better and longer life to our furry friends on regular basis right here at Roblin Animal Hospital.

Michelle’s love for animals began when she was young. Her grandmother taught her to love and respect all animals and her Dad gave her the first pet – a cat named Baby Ty and she has never looked back. Michelle has worked with horses and small animals before joining our team, and working at a veterinary hospital gives her the ability to work with amazing people who share her love of animals and the opportunity to care for them. Michelle is invariably courteous and soft-spoken and enjoys meeting clients and their furry family friends. When she’s not caring for animals and clients at work, she spends most of her time with her cat Wellington and watching TV snuggled on the couch.
Jayde graduated from the Veterinary Assistant program at Robertson College. She completed her practicum with us and immediately joined our team.
