Meet the friendly veterinary care team at Roblin Animal Hospital/ Red River Spay & Neuter Clinic!

  • Dr.
    E. Fisk

    Dr. Fisk graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996.
    He has worked in small animal medicine for over 20 years. As previous
    owner of the Winnipeg Spay and Neuter Clinic, he brings a great deal of
    experience to the Roblin Animal Hospital/ Red River Spay and Neuter Clinic. Dr
    Fisk’s philosophy is absolute transparency, client satisfaction and good
    veterinary medicine; because pets are family members…… Dr. Fisk is the proud
    owner of a Bichon by named Tadji and the proud father of three boys.

  • Dr.
    M. Kusa
    Dr. Kusa graduated from Moscow Veterinary Academy, Russia in 1992. He worked in small animal practice in Moscow for over 10 years before moving to Winnipeg. He took more training in human diagnostic medical sonography in Canada and is American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer and Canadian Registered Generalist Sonographer. He performs ultrasound examinations for pets at Animal Hospital of Manitoba, and Seven Oaks Animal Hospital. Dr. Kusa enjoys diagnostic imaging and he is a wonderful addition to Roblin Animal Hospital. Dr. Kusa lives with his wife Olga and their three boys and of course a British blue by name Lucy - British Shorthair domestic cat, who is also an immigrant in Winnipeg from Moscow, Russia.

  • Alyssa
    Animal Health Technician

    Ali’s love of animals developed as a child after watching Ace Ventura Pet Detective. In 2016, she joined Roblin Animal Hospital upon graduating from the Red River College Animal Health Technology program. When she’s not saving animals she spends most of her time watching Netflix and snuggling her 8 y/o love child Boston Terrier, Niera.

  • Karen
    Registered Animal Health Technologist

    Karen is a Registered Animal Health Technologist. She graduated from the Red River College Animal Health Technology program in 1996. She has many years of experience, particularily in surgery, as she worked with a board certified surgeon in Calgary. She has spent the past 13 years teaching the Veterinary Assisting Program in the St. James School Division. She is also a Certified Animal Behaviourist with 15 years of obediance and behaviour training. She is very pleased to be part of the Roblin Animal Hospital Team!

  • Ashley
    Registered Animal Health Technician

    Ashley is a Registered Veterinary Technician who graduated from the Red River College
    Animal Health Technology program in 2004. Over 10 years’ experience in
    Emergency, Pet Insurance, and regular practice. When she’s not working, she’s
    spending time with her 2 little mops, Mylo and Riggs, as well as her 2 cats,
    Cheddar Cheese and Patrick (who is FIV positive)

  • Pam
    Veterinary Assistant

    Pam completed the vet assistant program and joined our team in the summer of 2017

  • Joseph
    Kennel Assistant

    Joseph is a Kennel Assistant who is currently in the second year at University of
    Manitoba, faculty of science. Joseph believes knowledge is power and wants to
    be a teacher one day. He joined our team in the fall of 2017 and has been a
    great help around the clinic ever since. He keeps the clinic clean and tidy,
    helps out in appointments, and has even taken on some receptionist roles. He
    plays an important role on our team!
